Architecture
We work with architects to integrate structural solutions into functional and attractive architectural concepts.
What it does
The architect decides how the building looks and works: the layout of the rooms, the volume, the façades, the materials and how the house sits on the plot and next to its neighbours.
- the design brief, agreed with you, and the concept: sketches, plans, 3D images where needed;
- the architecture part of the building permit documentation (DTAC): plans, sections, façades, site plan;
- the detailed design and construction details for the architecture: finishes, windows and doors, waterproofing, roof details;
- compliance with the rules in the urban planning certificate (plot coverage, floor area ratio, height, setbacks) and, in villages, with the local architecture guides.
When you need it
- for any new house, extension, attic conversion or façade change that requires a building permit;
- before you buy a plot, to find out what can be built on it.
ℹ️ Who signs
In Romania, the architecture part is signed by an architect or architectural technician with signing rights, listed in the National Register of Architects, within the limits of their competence.
How we work together
The architect and the structural engineer work on the same project. From the first sketches we check that large spans, cantilevers and openings can be built safely and without unnecessary cost, so the design does not have to be redone after you have approved it.
