Building services

What it does

The building services engineer designs everything that makes a building liveable: water, heat, electricity and air.

• plumbing: hot and cold water supply, internal drainage;
• heating: boiler, heat pump, underfloor heating, and hot water production;
• ventilation and air conditioning, including heat-recovery ventilation;
• electrical installations: distribution boards, circuits, lighting, sockets, earthing and, where needed, lightning protection;
• natural gas installations;
• preparing the installation for photovoltaic panels.

When you need it

• for any new building or renovation that requires a permit: the building services design is part of the documentation;
• when you change the heating system or carry out an energy renovation.

How we work together

We coordinate the service routes with the structure from the start: openings in slabs and beams, the weight of equipment on the roof, space for the boiler and distribution boards. That way nobody has to break concrete on site to pass a pipe.
